Our Story

image000000.jpg

Mike has been into aviation since he was in highschool. His dad was a huge supporter in Mikes dreams and when his dad unfortunately passed a number of years ago, with the little amount of money let in the estate, he was able to purchase his first aircraft. He bought the balloon and named it Heaven Sent in honor of his dad.

Our Pilots

Mike Olin

Mike Started his Aviation career back in 1988 with learning how to fly fixed wing aircraft. He then was invited out to help crew for one of his coworkers and fell in love with hot air ballooning. He was a crew chief for 25 years before being able to earn his private and then commercial licenses. Now he travels around the New England area for festivals to share his hobby with everyone that he can. His newest accomplishment is training his son and close friend to each get their hot air balloon licenses, thus guiding a new generation of pilots to fly safely and expertly.

Gabe Olin

Gabe followed in his father's footsteps with his love of aviation. Ever since he could walk, Gabe was around balloons doing whatever he could to help. As he got older he wanted to be a pilot of his own. After two years of training with his dad, he was finally able to achieve his license at the age of 17. Soon after, he was able to enter a hot air balloon rally making him the youngest pilot in history to fly there. Now he is working on his commercial hot air balloon and his private fixed wing licenses.
